Operating Hours / Season

Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center will open the doors July 10, 2020 through the third Sunday of October.  
 
2020 season:
Opening Day: July 10
Closing Day: October 18

Hours:
Museum will be open daily 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Watercraft Exhibit Building will be open 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
(ONLY Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday)

Nature Center will be open 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. (ONLY Wednesday & Saturday)
 
Hiking trails are accessible year-round and after hours. If you wish to hike after 5 p.m., please park your vehicle at the end of the driveway, near the entrance sign and mailbox. The museum gate is locked at 5 p.m. every day.

Admission:
Adults: $5.00
Children (ages 5-18): $2.00
Children (ages 0-4): Free
Discount rate for Senior Citizens
Gunflint Trail Historical Society members: Free

Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center receives no direct financial support from the federal government and are unable to accept federal senior passes. Chik-Wauk has no affiliation with the Minnesota Historical Society.
