Thanks for another great season
The tamaracks are starting to glow, snow buntings are starting to haunt the roadsides, and there’s been snow in the forecast (and occasionally on the ground) for the last few days. With leaves mostly on the ground, we’ve come to the time when autumn starts rubbing elbows with Old Man Winter. And it’s at this time, when the signs all point to chillier changes, that our own season draws to a close. Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center closes for the 2013 at the end of the day on October 20th. We’ve enjoyed meeting new friends and welcoming returning faces and hope to see you again soon. We’ll reopen on Saturday, May 24, 2014. Until then, happy trails!
