Wildlife Sightings and More
Our nature log (pictured above) has been full for a couple weeks now, so we finally decided to wipe it clean and start anew. But before we wiped the slate clean, we took a moment to recording what people spotted at or around Chik-Wauk in the time from 5/25/2013 – 7/6/2013.

6/1 Beaver in bay
6/24 Moose cow and calf in the road from Voyageurs
6/28 Saw a bear near Greenwood Lake
6/20 Adult moose horns 10′ off Moose Pond Drive

When you swing by Chik-Wauk, be sure right down any interesting flora or fauna you spot. Your observations help us keep track of when wildflowers are blooming and might help other visitors spot wildlife or birds.
